Ainsdale CC, members of the ECB Premier League: Liverpool & District Cricket Competition have recently undertaken the complete refurbishment of their ageing score box.

They have invested heavily in modern technology to improve the club’s facilities with a new electronic scoreboard complete with protective roller shutters.

The project was financed by the hard work of the members who undertook a variety of fundraising activities and the assistance of tax refunds provided via the Gift Aid Scheme through their membership of Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC).

Mr Edward Fazakerley from EPF Solutions Ltd managed the building project on behalf of Ainsdale CC. Edward is not only an experienced construction engineer but has also been a playing member of Ainsdale CC for over 25 years. Edward worked in conjunction with Cathal Rodgers from FSL Electronics who constructed the scoreboard facia.

Ray Fitzpatrick, from Ainsdale CC cricket committee said: “Ainsdale is a club that intends to provide the best cricketing facilities not only for its members but also for the local community to enjoy. This is part of a five year improvement plan which we believe will transform the cricket section and the facilities we provide.”
