Charlestown Sarsfields GAA, based in County Mayo, wanted to upgrade their facilities with modern, easy-to-use electronic scoreboards to enhance the matchday experience for players, officials, and supporters. With regular senior fixtures, underage games, and community events taking place across both club pitches, they needed clear, reliable scoreboards that would perform in all conditions and be easy to operate on match days.
The Solution
FSL Scoreboards supplied and installed two custom scoreboards to meet the club’s needs. A G05 model was installed at Fr. O’Hara Park, providing a large, easy-to-read display for team names, scores, and match time, along with the ability to display general messages and announcements to keep supporters informed.
At the Colm Horkan Memorial Pitch, a G03 model was installed — offering a simple, reliable solution that clearly displays team names, scores, and match time. Both scoreboards are operated using FSL’s handheld remotes, allowing club officials to update team names, scores, and timers easily from anywhere around the grounds.
