Club Requirements
In 2023, Ascot United, a progressive football club competing in the Isthmian League, South Central Division, approached FSL in search of an electronic scoreboard solution that would complement their state-of-the-art facilities.
Their 4G pitch, considered one of the finest in the country, serves hundreds of members year-round — from youth teams to senior squads — and is a hub for activity and development.
The club wanted a modern, visually striking, and easy-to-operate scoreboard to enhance the matchday experience for players, officials, and supporters alike. Durability, visual impact, and a straightforward installation process were also high on their list of priorities, especially as they continue their push up the non-league football pyramid.
The Solution
FSL responded by providing a range of design mock-ups tailored to Ascot United's needs. After reviewing the options, the club selected the M03 electronic scoreboard — a robust and versatile model well-suited to their busy venue.
Through close collaboration with club officials, FSL ensured the final scoreboard design incorporated custom artwork and branding that aligned with Ascot United’s identity. The final product not only delivered on functionality but also added a visual focal point to the ground.
